Selected applications of the PPI products use in automotive industry and their advantages.
 Polyester-glasscloth laminates with acrylic adhesive are used to provide for vibrations damping of coils in capacitors. These are heat resistant to permanent temperatures of up to 125 oC.
Applications requiring high dielectric properties such as insulation materials of built-in car starters and inductive coils use the Nomex® paper laminates with polyester.
Flexible connectors based on tin clad copper foil are supplied in the form of die-cuts that serve for windscreen heating system.
Permanent polyester labels serve for identification of car tyres. This features an excellent adhesive strength to rubber substrate and hard to release from the surface of material. This is also suitable for thermo-transfer printing of bar codes and features high resistance against smudging.
Masking tapes for the power-coating of irregular surfaces such for example as on aluminium door frames and car windows. These may be released from the surface with no adhesive left and a reinforced carrier material prevents tapes from disrupting while being released. A printable antistatic tape is used in baking varnishing procedures by automotive industry. The coated surfaces ensure the over-varnishing without levelling defects and a clean sharp-edged delimitation for several varnishing and varnishing with several colours. The characteristic features of this tape include a temperature resistance up to 120 oC until 2 hours and residue-free removable. Antistatic properties of this tape remain unchanged even under fluctuating level of atmospheric humidity.
