Electronics and electrical

Design and production of electrical and electronic devices and parts of their constructions require a great amount of attention for ensuring the compliance with occupational safety regulations and standards preventing electrical interference from occurring. Therefore, the PPI products have been designed in a manner ensuring that these may be used for suppression of electrical interference,  EMI/RFI shielding, winding and insulation of transformers and coils, production of cables and become, due to their unique properties the parts of many products in this industrial sector.

Selected applications of the PPI products use in electronics and electrical industry and their advantages.

A wide range of applications in the suppression of domestic appliances and electronic equipments to eliminate electrical interference use self-adhesive conducting tape based on embossed aluminium. The embossing of the tape is then flattened by the application of pressure to the tape and the earth lead can then be crimped to the tape.

Equally extensive is the application scope of soft copper adhesive tapes with various types of adhesive for EMI/RFI shielding for motors, cables, cabinet and components. Adhesive substances with high content of conductive particles, good soldering properties and completely moisture resistant are only some of the numerous advantages of these tapes. These tapes may also be used as heating element.

Kapton glasscloth laminate is the product designed specifically for transformer insulation, where high mechanical and impact strength, temperature resistance and tensile strength in both directions are required.

Polyimide electrical tape with thermosetting  polyacrylate adhesive is used for outer wrap for transformers, torroidal and motor coils and bundling of armature coils. This tape has outstanding temperature as well as excellent mechanical and electrical properties.

Polyester tapes are designed for production of splicing kits for SMD reels. A variety of colour shades in which these tapes are produced are of advantage and allow to recognize different types of components. Moreover, these tapes can allow the component reel to pass through the feeder guide in pick-place machine smoothly. The tapes are suitable for temperatures ranging of 0 ^oC to 80 ^oC and have excellent adhesive strength.

Masking tape is suitable for masking of gold fingers on printed circuit boards (PCB) during hot air levelling processes. This tape fully conforms to PCB irregularities and can be removed from substrate without leaving any adhesive residue.

Outstanding tear and abrasion resistance and high mechanical strength makes glasscloth electrical tape most suitable for cable harnessing.

Aluminium tape with thermosetting polyacrylate adhesive is most suitable in refrigerator manufacture. This tape is completely moisture resistant.

When producing LED displays, during the encapsuling process, perfect protection against transfer of resin to tape and adhesive transfer to body of components and, is provided by the use of bandoleering and masking tapes.
