Converting
In addition to direct selling of products our company pay great attention on a close cooperation with converting partners. Because converting belongs among activities of our own, we can understand very well the needs of other converting companies. Being convertors ourselves, we dispose of the worldwide know-how and of the necessary technical equipment in order to comply with even the most demanding requirements of our business partners.
Main types of processing PPI materials
Laminating
In addition to standard design of laminates our production also includes non-standard laminates tailored to measure according to specific customer requirements. By combining of various release materials and adhesives we can produce practically unlimited number of different laminates designs.
Printing
There are three different types of printing technology we use which include the following: thermo-transfer printing, industrial printing with the use of special paints based on solvents and monochrome UV flexo-printing. We can print a variety of different materials such as textile, paper, metal foils, and film on both sides, on adhesive and on non-adhesive side of the base material. Upon request we can provide also for other types of printing – graphic printing and serigraphy.
Rewinding
 Rewinding allows adjusting roll lengths to meet customer specific requirements. During rewinding processes we can insert or remove separating foils or liners layers. Rewinding may also be provided with the use of non-standard cores.
Slitting
Slitting of materials is done to required widths and lengths with the 0.1 mm accuracy with a majority of materials. Slitting may also be used with susceptible materials such as textiles, materials with adhesive on both sides and soft metal foils. The machines in use feature high variability of adjustable slitting widths.
Cutting
PPI has a reputation of being the world-wide specialist producing die-cut components. We always provide for an optimum design of cutting tool and finished die-cuts are supplied as butt-cuts, kiss-cuts or die-cuts or in any other formats tailored to meet customer specific needs. We continuously enlarge the assortment of materials suitable for production of die-cut components to cover the needs of converting partners and needs of a variety of other industrial sectors.
