The use of PPI products in medical care area extends to and is preferred for a very large range of applications. These range from simple practical aids to very complex components designed for the use in latest diagnostic devices and systems.

Laminated tape is based on a special printed film and double sided tape with aggressive adhesion suitable for a wide variety of surfaces. The function of this tape is to act as a lift tab  for a wound dressing.  This tape provides a permanent bond to allow the finger lift tab to operate without any de-lamination. Using a paper release liner gives the product a more rigid effect.

Hypoallergenic polyester tape for reinforcing of colostomy pouches contains a hypoallergenic adhesive suitable for contact with human skin. This tape features the combination of high adhesive tack with high adhesive strength.

Polyester film with low tack adhesive on a liner (die-cut) is used as a guiding system for the hypodermic injection needles to reduce infection risks to patients as well as healthcare workers, thus reducing exposure to blood voiding contamination.  For the use as a guiding system for hypodermic injection needles. The main benefits are proper release from liner and adequate adhesion values.

Heat activated masking tapes can be applied on the chip surface of medical diagnostics devices. These tapes feature excellent resistance against blood and fluids. If a very pure heat sealing adhesive is dried correctly there will be no remaining components that could interfere/modify blood and fluids that are in contact with it.

PPI laminates serve for replacing ordinary cables in EEG and ECG instruments. Being of a single use design these cables need not be sterilised after each use.

Polyester film with silicone adhesive is used in production of coils with superconductive magnets for CT and magnetic resonance devices. The main advantage of this adhesive is its resistance property to extremely low temperatures.
