Electrical Glass Cloth Transformer Tapes
PPI 8410 Single-sided tear and temperature-resistant tape based on glass fabric coated with thermosetting acrylic adhesive. Excellent abrasion resistance and high mechanical strength with good impregnability. Used as wrapping tape at high temperatures.
PPI 8411 Single-sided tear and temperature-resistant tape with thermosetting rubber adhesive. Excellent abrasion resistance and high mechanical strength.
PPI 8415 Single-sided high-temperature resistant tape with thermosetting silicone adhesive.
Applications:
- Inter phase insulation, holding & general insulation of coils and transformers.
- Wrapping tape at high temperatures.
- Heavy coil banding, slot edge reinforcement, and inter-phase insulation.
- Traction machine manufacturing for motors and transformers.
There is also a possibility of glass cloth-based laminated products with other substrates.
