Looking for highly motivated Business Development Manager for Czech Republic

You will be responsible for

  • Implementing a strategic business plan to expand the company’s customer base and ensure its strong presence in the Czech Republic
  • Identifying emerging markets and market shifts while being fully aware of new products and competition status
  • Actively find and develop new opportunities - preparing quotes for new prospects based on coming requests
  • Maintain and develop the business with potential and existing customers – preparing quotes, project management
  • Building a strong relationship with customers
  • Negotiation about price and conditions with the customers
  • Cooperation with the development of new products with the R&D office
  • Monitoring of most common problems in the customer journey, follow up to eliminate the negative experience
  • Lead generation - companies database creating for relevant key segments according to the Business plan
  • Initial contact with new leads – qualification process for sales and accurate records in the CRM system
  • Participation in the implementation of new procedures and tools, drive continuous improvement initiatives
  • Communication with the C.E. office in Slovakia and the Irish R&D office– dealing with Customer support responsible person and cooperating with Marketing activities in the region


To succeed in this role, you’ll need

  • Higher education in business or technical specialization
  • Experience more than 4 years in sales (preferably in the Adhesive tapes industry)
  • Ability and interest to learn our products & services on a level required to support new and existing account management
  • Proficiency in computer software systems including MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Working knowledge of customer relationship management software and data analysis
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills and dedication to customer satisfaction
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills and the ability to multitask and prioritize
  • Strong sales and negotiation skills
  • Ability to pay strong attention to detail
  • Flexibility to respond to changes
  • Languages: Czech – Native or Advanced (C1), English – B2 (Upper-Intermediate) for speaking and written communication

How we work at PPI

PPI Central Europe's main office is located in Slovakia where all sales activities are coordinated from. Also, order management with our production facilities in Ireland and customer support is centralized for all Central Europe regions.

For our growing activities in the Czech Republic, we are looking for a new fascinated Business Development Manager. Sales Managers and Business Development Managers outside Slovakia work remotely. 


Base salary depends on professional qualifications and experience + bonuses
